Construction/Maintenance Manager
I have worked in and around oil fields and associated facilities for more than thirty-six years. Twenty-six years have been in Southeast Asia and primarily in Indonesia.
My experience covers areas such as the US, North Africa, North Sea, South China Sea and Southeast Asia.
My education and primary experience is in Process Control Instrumentation. However, having worked in remote locations for many years and as a matter of necessity, my experience has broadened to include the following areas:
• Construction management and senior supervision.
• Installing, commissioning and re-certification of LACT meter systems.
• Setting up instrument workshops. Providing training on specific instruments and on-the-job training.
• Instrument / Electrical Maintenance Supervision.
• Instrument / Electrical Construction Supervision.
• Pre-Commissioning and commissioning of instruments and control systems.
• Specifying and ordering material and equipment. Technical bid evaluations, Establishing Minimum / Maximum order levels. Tracking requisitions. Issuing inventory reports.
• Supervising ME&I construction groups.
• P&ID updates.
• Preparing scopes of work.
• Preparing equipment specifications for specific equipment.
Should there be a requirement for the services I offer, I am available immediately for short-term or long-term contracts.
