COO Vietnam- mobile industry
My client, a global leading value added service and digital marketing provider for the mobile market is currently looking to strengthen its senior management team by recruiting for a Chief Operating Officer for Vietnam. This role will be responsible for managing the Vietnamese operations: including budget planning and business development. The company is currently going through a period of vast global expansion and looking for a truly dynamic and entrepreneurial candidate with a solid knowledge of the mobile content and VAS industry to take on this senior level role and develop Vietnamese operations. In turn, the company will provide outstanding carrier opportunities and development for the suitable candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Management of and development of all mobile distribution channels (both B2B and B2C, telecommunications, media and marketing).
• Coordination of an expanding team, with clear aggressive targets in terms of revenue, profits and market shares.
• Contribute to the growth of the organisation to generate long term value.
Key Requirements:
• Entrepreneurial, self-confident leader with a clear results orientated approach with proven P&L management capabilities.
• Proven European experience within the VAS, mobile content, digital business or media domain.
• Clear exposure and interest in the evolution and of mobile market trends (especially with regards to mobile content).
• Solid management experience.
• Fluency in English
• Fluency/ Notions/ interest in the Vietnamese language (with a desire to learn the language within a short time frame).
